General Data Protection Regulation
1. Introduction
The Visions of the Future conference organization values the privacy and protection of its users' personal data. This regulation defines our policy for collecting, using and protecting the personal data of participants in events organized by partner entities, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR).
2. Consent
By registering and participating in the Visions of the Future conference, you explicitly consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for the following purposes:
- Event management and organization.
- Communication of information related to the event.
- Internal statistical analysis to improve the services provided.
-Evaluation of the documents submitted to a jury made up of the members of the respective scientific committee.
- Capturing and recording images during the days of the event and confined to the conference venue.
The data collected will be used solely and exclusively for the purposes mentioned and related to the proper functioning of the event and will not be shared with third parties not belonging to the organization, unless required by law or with the explicit consent of the data subject.
3. Gender Identity and Social Inclusion
The partner entities organizing the conference undertake to promote an inclusive and safe environment for all participants, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion or any other personal characteristic. Any sensitive data related to gender identity will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and respect, ensuring that all necessary security measures are implemented to protect this data.
4. Data Security
We have implemented the appropriate technical measures to guarantee the security of the personal data collected, preventing unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures include:
- Data encryption.
- Restricted access to data for authorized employees only.
- Regular safety audits.
- Security incident response protocols.
5. Collecting and Using Photographs and Videos
During the two days of the Visions of the Future conferences, photographs and videos will be taken
which may include the image of the participants. These images and videos will be used exclusively
by the organizer of the Visions of the Future conferences for the purposes of promoting and
documenting the event. By participating in the event, you consent to the capture and use of your
images for these purposes. The result of the photographs and videos of the event will be displayed
on the event platform for the purpose of promoting and registering the event, exclusively for this
purpose and not used or shared with third parties for other purposes which are not mentioned.
If the participant does not agree to the use of their images, the participant must notify us in writing
email, no later than 10 days before the start of the event, to the following address:

6. Rules for Participation / Submission of Paper for Talk or Article Publication
All participants wishing to submit their participation in the "Visions of the Future" conferences
must adhere to the following rules of participation:
- Adopt inclusive and respectful conduct, valuing each individual's gender identity, sexual
orientation, ethnicity, religion and other personal characteristics.
- Comply with the security guidelines established for the protection of personal data.
- Consent to the capture and use of photos and videos as specified in these regulations, or inform
the organization by written email if you do not agree.
Any violation of these rules may result in the exclusion of the participant from the event and
additional measures as necessary to ensure compliance with these regulations.
7. Conduct during the event and language of the safety statement
The partners of conference organization consider human activities fundamental, for which
openness, international collaboration and the free flow of talent and ideas are essential. Their
meetings, conferences and other events aim to enable engaging, stimulating conversations that
support MUDE's core mission aimed at all audiences. As such, they are committed to providing a
safe, productive and welcoming environment for all participants. The organization has no
tolerance for discrimination, harassment or bullying. All participants have the right to express
common interests without recourse to harassment or discrimination, in an environment that
supports diversity and inclusion. Participants are expected to respect these principles and
respect the rights of others. Participants should report any behavior inconsistent with the
principles described here to the on-site team, security personnel or via the contact email:

8. Data subjects' rights
Participants have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify incorrect or outdated personal data.
- Request the deletion of your personal data.
- Limit or oppose the processing of your personal data.
- Request the portability of your personal data.

9. Amendments to the Regulation
The Visions of the Future conference organizing team reserves the right to amend these regulations at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants via the usual means of communication.
